Akshay Kumar or Twinkle Khanna are on vacation with their daughter Nitara in the Maldives: ‘Birthday celebrations have begun.’
Twinkle Khanna and her husband, actor Akshay Kumar, have traveled to the Maldives to spend quality time with their daughter Nitara ahead of her 48th birthday on December 29.
Twinkle Khanna and Akshay Kumar plan to celebrate the latter’s birthday with their daughter Nitara in the Maldives. The couple has posted candid videos of enjoying the sea breeze and having a good time at the picturesque location. As Akshay has taken a small break from his hectic shooting schedule, the two are expected to celebrate the New Year there as well.
Akshay took to Instagram to share a video of himself cycling at one of the Maldives’ plush resorts, writing, “When your Monday looks like a Sunday:).”
Akshay is dressed casually in a breezy tropical print shirt and shorts, displaying his grey stubble.
“Rait Zara Si,” a song from his latest release Atrangi Re, plays in the background.
Twinkle posted a video of herself strolling along the beach, taking in the view of the ocean, and then pacing towards her daughter Nitara. “Birthday celebrations have already started with trapping golden sunlight within my pores, my hair salty from the hazy blue sea, and my heart filled to the brim,” she wrote.
Akshay has taken a small break from his hectic shooting schedule to celebrate Twinkle’s special day. This year has been a busy one for the actor, with back-to-back film releases. His most recent film was Aanand L Rai’s Atrangi Re, now available on Disney+ Hotstar.
In the Dhanush and Sara Ali Khan-starrer, Akshay plays a magician in a special cameo.
Sooryavanshi, Akshay’s film, was release in theatres last month after being delaye due to the coronavirus pandemic. So far, it has grossed 195.04 crores at the domestic box office. His previous album, Bell Bottom, was also release earlier this year. Bachchan Pandey, Prithviraj, and Raksha Bandhan are his three upcoming films. Following his vacation, Akshay will begin filming for Ram Setu and OMG 2 – Oh My God! 2.
