Amitabh Bachchan has been admitted to the Nanavati
hospital; initial reports suggest asymptomatic and mild infection to the
Father-son duo.
On late Saturday night, Amitabh
Bachchan in a
tweet revealed that he had tested COVID-19 positive. The megastar also urged people who
had come in close contact with him to do a coronavirus test. Senior Bachchan
was admitted in Nanavatihospital in Vile Parle, Mumbai after being diagnosed
with the fatal virus. A hospital source has revealed that Mr Bachchan
complained of a breathing problem which led him to test for the disease and
eventually got admitted to the hospital.

Amitabh Bachchan in a tweet wrote,” T 3590 – I have tested CoviD positive.. shifted to hospital.. hospital informing authorities, family and staff undergone tests, results awaited. All that have been in close proximity to me in the last 10 days are requested to please get themselves tested!”

A few minutes later, Big B’s son and actor Abhishek Bachchan revealed that as per latest tests results he too had been diagnosed with novel coronavirus. The Breathe actor tweeted,” Earlier today both my father and I tested positive for COVID-19. Both of us having mild symptoms have been admitted to the hospital. We have informed all the required authorities and our family and staff are all being tested. I request all to stay calm and not panic. Thank you.” In another tweet junior Bachchan informed his followers that they had contacted BMC and are complying with their guidance.
Sr Bachchan came in close
proximity with the crew:
Although being home quarantined
since the lockdown started back in March, Big B has not got out of the house. All
the advertisement filming for Kaun Banega Crorepati was done at his home in
Juhu. So Sr Bachchan did come in close proximity with the shooting crew and
production people. Even Abhishek Bachchan had been dubbing for his now released
web series Breathe Into The Shadows.
