Actor and dramatist Y Gee Mahendra, Anirudh’s uncle, confirmed the marriage in a recent interview with KPTV. Mahendra described his nephew as “a very soft boy” and expressed his congratulations for the upcoming wedding. “That girl is not just another ordinary girl. She has the capacity to handle such a big team (SRH). She has inherited her father’s business genes. They’re a good pair,” Mahendra stated, praising the couple’s compatibility.

Kavya Maran, daughter of business tycoon Kalanithi Maran, serves as CEO of Sunrisers Hyderabad, the Indian Premier League franchise. She also heads Sunrisers Eastern Cape in the SA20 League and Sunrisers Leeds in The Hundred cricket tournament, while holding the position of executive director at Sun TV Network Limited.

Anirudh, one of Indian cinema’s most celebrated music composers, has created soundtracks for numerous Bollywood and regional films. His portfolio includes work with superstars like Rajinikanth, Shah Rukh Khan, Vijay, and Ajith Kumar. His recent projects include “Love Insurance Kompany” and the album track “Aravindh.”
