Illegal Hospital in Ahmedabad Sealed

Authorities in Ahmedabad’s Naroda area have uncovered a fake hospital operating without legal authorization. The facility, named ‘Three Star Hospital,’ was run by Dharmendra alias Sanjay Patel, a resident of New Shahibaug.

According to ACP V.N. Yadav, Patel had rented a shop on the sixth floor of Shikhar Avenue Complex, where he set up an ICU and Trauma Center using forged documents, including a fake Form C with stamps and seals from the Amdavad Municipal Corporation (AMC).

Authorities revealed that Patel operated the hospital using fake case papers, medical reports, and treatment certificates, misusing doctor registration numbers issued by the Gujarat Medical Council. Additionally, he illegally charged patients for treatments.

The hospital has been sealed, and Patel has been booked under relevant legal sections. Further investigation is underway.

Fake Gynecologist Arrested in Kutch

In another case, authorities arrested a fake gynecologist in Dayapar, Kutch, who had been illegally running a maternity hospital without a medical degree.

Police Raid on Janani Hospital

The accused, Anuradha Mantu Prasad Yadav, originally from Bihar, operated Janani Hospital in Maruti Complex, Dayapar. A joint team, including Dayapar Police, Taluka Health Officer Dr. KK Patel, TMPHS Ajay Solanki, MPSS Jabbar Sama, and Pharmacist Velabhai Buchiya, conducted a raid, sealed the hospital, and arrested Yadav.

Both cases highlight serious threats to public health, prompting authorities to crack down on quackery and illegal medical practices in Gujarat.
