Badshah Admits Rs 12.45 Crore Rolls Royce Purchase Was Impulsive Decision

Badshah, India’s renowned rapper, has become the first India-born musician to own a Rolls-Royce Cullinan Series II, joining an elite circle that includes Mukesh Ambani, Shah Rukh Khan, and Ajay Devgn. However, in a candid conversation with Curly Tales, the artist revealed that his acquisition of the luxury vehicle, priced at approximately Rs 12.45 crore on-road in Mumbai, was an impulsive decision driven by momentary enthusiasm rather than deliberate planning.

The Rush of Luxury Ownership Fades Fast

Speaking about the purchase, Badshah expressed, “I think buying the car was very impulsive. Jaldi se decide kar liya ki aaj lena hai (I decided quickly that I will buy it today).” More surprisingly, he disclosed that the excitement associated with owning such a prestigious vehicle lasted merely 10-15 minutes. “The high of buying the car lasted for 10-15 minutes and then you are like what next?” he candidly admitted, offering a refreshing perspective on luxury acquisitions.

Materialism Meets Values and Relationships

Despite his substantial spending on luxury items, Badshah clarified his approach to wealth and possessions. When forced to choose between Rs 5 crore and limited edition watches, he unhesitatingly selected the timepieces, stating that each exclusive watch exceeds the monetary value. Interestingly, he continues checking price tags on purchases and hides the costs of his watches from his parents.

The rapper emphasized that material possessions never override genuine relationships. He shared, “I value my relationships more than I value material things.” This philosophy manifests in his behavior—if a close friend damaged his car, he would prioritize their wellbeing before addressing the vehicle damage, demonstrating that despite his materialistic pursuits, human connections remain paramount in his value system.
