Ranveer Singh, a Bollywood actor, known for his maximalist fashion, frequently makes headlines for his sartorial statements. However, he is not afraid to experiment with different fashion styles.
The actor recently dared to pose naked for a magazine cover. As a result, several photos of the actors have circulated on social media platforms.
According to media reports, Ranveer’s latest photos have landed him in hot water. As a complaint has been file against the actor with Mumbai Police for ‘hurting women’s sentiments.’
“Last week, we saw many nude photographs clicked so that any male or female will feel ashamed about it,” said one part of the complaint.
The complaint continues, “These kinds of acts should be strongly opposed; if they are not, then second and third rank actors will also follow the same path for cheap publicity, resulting in a worse condition.”
“Because the accused person’s actions caused shame in the eyes of the women at large. As well as publishing and transmitting sexually explicit material,” according to the complaint.
The complaint was file against Ranveer under section 67A of the IT Act. As well as sections 292, 293, 354 and 509 of the Indian Penal Code, for causing hurt and insulting women’s modesty.
According to reports, Ranveer’s photoshoot is a tribute to ’70s pop icon Burt Reynolds. Who also went naked for an international magazine in 1972.
