‘Cocktail’ Starring Saif Ali Khan, Deepika Padukone, and Diana Penty Set for Re-Release in May

The beloved Bollywood romantic-drama ‘Cocktail’ is all set to make a comeback to the big screens this May, almost 13 years after its original release. Directed by Homi Adajania, the 2012 film features Saif Ali Khan, Deepika Padukone, and Diana Penty in lead roles and continues to enjoy a special place in the hearts of fans.

Following the success of classic film re-releases like ‘Andaz Apna Apna’, audiences are once again gearing up to relive the magic of cinematic nostalgia. PVR Cinemas officially announced the re-release, sharing a poster on their social media handle with the caption: “The iconic trio is back! Experience the unforgettable journey of ‘Cocktail’ once again with our Curated Shows. ‘Cocktail’ re-releasing at PVR INOX on May 30!”

Fans quickly flooded the post with excitement and affection. Comments ranged from “Re-release every single romcom of my blood” to “10/10 movie” and “Manifestation is real finally. Can’t wait.” Several fans revealed they had already started advance bookings, expressing their enthusiasm with heart emojis.

In addition to the leads, the film’s supporting cast includes acclaimed actors Boman Irani, Dimple Kapadia, and Randeep Hooda. Notably, ‘Cocktail’ marked Diana Penty’s Bollywood debut and established itself as a romantic classic with its unique story and memorable music.

The plot centers on Meera (Diana Penty), who moves in with her new friend Veronica after being abandoned by her husband, Kunal (Randeep Hooda). The story unfolds with romantic complications when Veronica’s boyfriend Gautam, played by Saif Ali Khan, develops feelings for Meera.
