the Congress who dropped him from their cabinet.

Govind Singh Dotasra to replace
Sachin Pilot:
Congress leader Randeep Singh
Surjewala addressed a media briefing after the CLP meeting and accused the BJP
of misleading Sachin Pilot and other Congress leaders. Randeep Singh said,” We
spoke to Pilot multiple times and told him that all his concerns will be
addressed. No other young neta has grown as much as Pilot. We have given him
due recognition in the short-term that he was in politics.” Govind Singh
Dotasra replaced Pilot as the Congress state president whereas Hem Singh
Shekhawat made Sewa Dal state president.
Rajasthan CLP passes a
resolution of support:
On Monday night, Rajasthan
Congress camp released a video showing at least 16 MLAs sitting together and
also warned of taking action against all those who skipped the Tuesday’s
meeting. The political crisis in the state occurred after the fallout between
Deputy CM Sachin Pilot and Ashok Gehlot, the Chief Minister of Rajasthan. Pilot claimed
that he had the backing of MLAs and that the Gehlot-led government was reduced
to a minority. However, this did not stand true, as, on Monday, Rajasthan CLP
passed a resolution to extend their support to the Ashok Gehlot government.
Ashok Gehlot says BJP the sole
reason behind the state crisis:
Ashok Gehlot attacked the BJP
of toppling governments based on money and power. Gehlot said,” The BJP has been conspiring for a long time and I had been
warning Congress leader of not falling in the trap of horse-trading.”
Meanwhile, BJP’s Rajasthan unit has called for a meeting today to discuss &
decide the course of action to be taken.
