Deepika Padukone struggles with her elaborate gown in Cannes

Deepika Padukone walked the red carpet in an orange gown on Tuesday, but she struggled with her train, which continued to obstruct her path.

Deepika Padukone is a jury member at this year’s Cannes Film Festival and has kept her public appearances to a minimum. However, the actor’s red carpet impression on Tuesday proved a challenge. She arrived at the venue wearing an elaborate orange gown with a train, and she was seen struggling to walk in the figure-hugging gown with the train in her way.

Deepika posed with her buddy jury members at the event as they watched the film L’innocent. Deepika’s ensemble was dramatic, with a bundle of pleated cloth behind her back. But the actor’s struggle with the train was genuine. Every time she walked a short distance. She could be seen bending down to transfer the bundled-up train from her side to her back.

She was also seen walking unusually in the skirt, making it difficult for her to climb the stairs.

Deepika shared photos of the look on Instagram, and her husband Ranveer Singh was among the first to compliment her. “This is everything!” he exclaimed, using a kiss eyes emoji and a heart emoticon.

Earlier this 7 Days, at the inauguration of the India pavilion at Cannes 2022. She spoke about how far Indian cinema has come. “I know we have a long way to go as a country. And I am extremely proud to be here as like Indian and to represent my country. But, looking back on 75 years of Cannes, she said, “there have only been a handful of Indian films also Indian talent that have been available to make it. Also I feel like collectively as a nation today we have it.”

Deepika will next be seen in Pathaan, Shah Rukh Khan’s comeback film. Siddharth Anand will direct the film, which will also star John Abraham.
