At a press event held to celebrate the milestone, Joshi firmly rejected claims that he was stepping away from the series. He used the occasion to call on media houses to check facts before running stories, noting that unverified claims tend to spread quickly once they hit social media. He expressed particular disappointment when well-known publications run such reports without confirmation, arguing that this lends the rumours unwarranted credibility.
