Diwali is almost here, and the celebrations have begun in our Tinseltown with parties hosted by industry heavyweights. However, you may be surprise to learn that some of the country’s biggest names, such as Shah Rukh Khan and Karan Johar, will not be throwing Diwali parties this year. Diwali parties are celebrated and attended with zeal because the two-year pandemic prevented full-fledged gatherings. So there’s a renewed interest in them, and we’ve already seen a party thrown by Ayushmann Khurrana and Tahira Kashyap. Huma Qureshi, Ali Fazal, Richa Chadha, Nushratt Bharucha, Rajkummar Rao, and Taapsee Pannu were among those who attended. Ananya Panday and Karan Johar were also present. However, the Diwali lights will appear a little dim this year due to the absence of the biggest names.
According to Pinkvilla, Karan Johan and Shahrukh Khan will not be hosting any parties.
This is because Karan Johar’s house is currently under construction.
Manish Malhotra and Shilpa Shetty are expect to throw a Diwali bash attended by stars such as Arjun Kapoor, Karan Johar, and Kareena Kapoor Khan. Ramesh Taurani is also planning a party. There are expect appearances by Katrina Kaif, Vicky Kaushal, Ranbir Kapoor, and Salman Khan. It remains to be see what these celebrities will wear to the Diwali celebrations.
