  2. The video was doctored says Delhi’s deputy chief minister Manish Sisodia.

Manish Sisodia, Delhi’s deputy chief minister, lashes out over farm laws at the Narendra Modi-led government at the Centre on Sunday. A video posted by the leaders of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) showing Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal talking in support of the three laws has been the immediate cause.

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), as well as Sisodia, said that the video was doctored. Speaking at a press conference on the subject, Sisodia said he felt sad that in order to build legitimacy for the legislation, the BJP would have to post an edited version of the Delhi CM’s clip.

The 18-second video shows that Kejriwal listed the advantages of new farm laws including such MSP which would remain, farmers would also be able to sell their goods throughout India as well as added that over the last 70 years this was a groundbreaking move in the agricultural sector.

“Yesterday, BJP, as well as its spokesperson, published a doctored clip of Arvind Kejriwal Ji claiming the advantages of farm laws. I was furious over this but also felt bad for BJP that it had to post manipulated video clip of Arvind Ji to develop credibility of the laws,” Sisodia said from the press conference.

Following his attack against the Centre since the briefing, Sisodia claimed that the general citizen had lost faith in the BJP leaders as well as chief ministers and also that neither the people nor even the farmers are ready to accept despite PM Modi explaining the advantages of these laws.

“Today, not just to BJP, however, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has even lost credibility. BJP knows it very well, that is why they published a faked video of Arvind Kejriwal Ji,” Delhi deputy chief minister stated.

Sisodia said that it was organized by the BJP, mentioning the violence that occurred during the Republic Day tractor rally, as well as it further attempted to blame the protesting peasants.

Meanwhile, on Saturday, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) blamed the BJP for instigating Friday’s violence on the Singhu border throughout the national capital.

Amid reports which clashes broke out towards the protest sites between farmers as well as local residents, the AAP posted two images of the attackers on Twitter along with Union Home Minister Amit Shah as well as BJP MP Manoj Tiwari, claiming they were representatives of the BJP and non-locals.
