Early morning rainfall for Delhi-NCR for two days in a row.

As IMD tweeted: 

On Sunday, the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) forecast that parts of Delhi-NCR would receive light to medium rainfall accompanied by thunderstorms.

A mild to medium rainstorm will occur over certain parts of South Delhi (Ayanagar, Tughlakabad, Deramandi), Gohana, Faridabad, Ganaur, Panipat, Sohna, Manesar, Ballabgarh, Nuh (Haryana), Nagaur, Dausa, Laxmangarh, Rajgarh, Alwar, Mehndipur (Rajasthan), Khataoli, Ghaziabad, Dadri, Noida, Chapraula, and Aligarh… over the next two hours,’ tweeted the weather agency.

As per the IMD’s forecast:

According to the IMD, Modinagar, Hindon-AF station, Jattari, Badayun, Atrauli, Siyana, Loni-Dehat, Najafgarh, Jahangirabad, Khurja, Etah, Iglas, Deeg, Agra, Mathura, Kashganj, Amroha, Moradabad, Bhajoi, Chandausi, Hathras, including Narora (UP) also were predicted to receive light to medium rainfall.

 

Delhi received rainfall for two days in a row:

This is the second time in a row, in the early morning period, that Delhi recorded rainfall. On Saturday, the city received rainfall along with thunderstorms as well as lightning. 

On Friday, IMD said that parts of northwest and neighbouring central India would witness a wet spell that will result in fairly heavy rainfall and snowfall between January 4 and January 6 over the Western Himalayan area.

As per the weather agency predicated: 

Due to cloud cover, the lowest temperature in Delhi-NCR fell to 7°C on Saturday. The Weather Agency has forecast that around January 3 as well as January 4, some parts of Delhi, Punjab, as well as Uttar Pradesh, will encounter cold days. It also advised that at the same time, areas of Rajasthan and also Uttar Pradesh would encounter cold wave conditions.

The IMD forecast on Friday: 

Over several areas of the plains of northwest India and neighbouring central India, cold wave to extreme cold wave conditions prevail. During the next 24 hours, those were likely to begin over Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, And Delhi, West Uttar Pradesh as well as north Rajasthan and go down thereafter, IMD said that on Friday.

The IMD also forecast that among January 3 as well as January 5, Delhi, Punjab, Haryana, and also parts of Uttar Pradesh would wake up to dense fog.
