In a Twitter message, DMRC wrote that Delhi Gate, Azadpur, Model Town, GTB Nagar, Vishwavidyalaya, Vidhan Sabha, Indraprastha, ITO, Samaypur Badli, Rohini Sector 18/19, Haiderpur Badli Mor, Jahangir Puri, Adarsh Nagar, Jama Masjid, Jhilmil, Mansarovar Park, Dilshad Garden, and also Civil Lines entry, as well as exit gates, were all shut on 26 January.

 It further mentioned that all metro stations on the green line had their entrance and also exit gates locked.

The farmer’s peaceful protest turned to violence:
