Kannada star Puneet Rajkumar said goodbye to the world on Friday. Puneet was working out in the gym and had a heart attack. He was rushed to Vikram Hospital in Bengaluru. However, the doctors could not save him. According to DCP Central, the body of the holy prince has been laid to rest at the Kantirwa Stadium for public viewing. The funeral of the ‘Power Star’ actor will be held with political honors. His daughter Vandita will arrive in India from America today, October 31, at noon. Vandita State Authority has arranged a special flight from Delhi to Bengaluru. The funeral will then be held in the evening.

Fans could do not bear the shock of Puneet’s death in shock. A 30-year-old man from Maro village in Hanur taluka of Karnataka’s Chamarajanagar district died of a heart attack on hearing the news of Puneet’s death. His name was Muniyappa. 

He was a farmer. One person died of a heart attack in Shindoli village of Belagavi. According to media reports, a young man from Athani in the Belagavi district of Karnataka committed suicide after hearing the news of Star’s demise.

His father was a prince, and his mother was a Parvathamma prince. Punit was the youngest of five siblings. The family came to Mysore when he was six years old. Puneet Rajkumar’s elder brother Shiv Rajkumar is also a well-known actor. Puneet married Ashwini in 1999. They have two daughters.

The untimely demise of Section 144 applicable Puneet to prevent any untoward incident has now turned the tide of mourning in the state of Karnataka. All theatres in the state are closed. Section 144 has been implemented in some areas to control the crowd of fans. 

Karnataka CM Basavaraj Bommai also reached Vikram Hospital. The sale of liquor has been banned for 2 nights in Bengaluru.

Event cancelled by Rajamouli and Surya The

The release of Surya’s film Jai Bhim Jukebox and RRR Jhalak have been postponed on Saturday due to the death of Kannada actor Puneet Rajkumar. Not only that, all the shows of his elder brother Shiv Rajkumar’s film ‘Bhajarangi 2’ have been cancelled in the state of Karnataka.

Speaking of Puneet’s work front, he became popular among the fans as Appu in 2002. So fans gave him this name. Puneet has acted in films like ‘Abhi’, ‘Veera Kannadiga’, ‘Ajay’, ‘Arasu’, ‘Ram’, ‘Hudugaru’ and ‘Anjani’s Son’. He was last seen in ‘Yuvaratna’. The film was released this year.

Started career as a child

actor Punit Rajkumar was the son of popular superstar Rajkumar. He started his career as a child artist in 1985 with the film Bettada Hovu. Puneet won the National Film Award for Child Artist for this film.

These unfinished films were

busy shooting for Puneet Chetan Kumar’s film ‘James’. Puneet, who always gave priority to work, completed a large part of the film, though it is now incomplete. Her opposite in the film was Priya Anand. Along with this film, the shooting of ‘Dwitva’ was also in the queue. It was to be done by Shri Ganesh Punit in November or December. The film was his first collaboration with Pawan Kumar.

Puneet has also worked on an untouched project with Santosh Anandaram. The two have worked together in ‘Rajakumara’ and ‘Yuvaratna’. Apart from this, 5 other films of Puneet’s home banner were also left to be produced.
