Jayeshbhai Jordaar- song Firecracker: In this upbeat dance number from his upcoming film, Ranveer Singh dances merrily while singing praises for the Firecracker in his life.

The first song from Ranveer Singh’s upcoming film Jayeshbhai Jordaar was released on Monday afternoon. Ranveer take to social media to claim the video for the song Firecracker, in which he dances and frolics around, appreciating the ‘firecracker’ in his life. Fans praised Ranveer’s portrayal of a simpleton Gujarati, saying he had “re-entered the skin” of his character.

The song’s video begins with Ranveer Singh’s character Jayesh. Dressed in his trademark shirt and trousers, dancing through a muddy street while women dressed in sarees with ghoonghats groove alongside. Ranveer then joins the women and dances as the song describes a firework in Jayesh’s life, represented by desi rappers. He then enters a large courtyard, dancing with hundreds of women and schoolgirls as the song continues to list the good qualities of this Firecracker.

Vishal Dadlani and Shekhar Ravjiani sang the song, which they also composed.

Kumaar and Vayu are the authors of the lyrics. Fans praised the song’s melody and Ranveer’s dance and energy in the video. “Vishal Dadlani’s powerful voice that slowly melts my heart in this song,” one fan said.
