Kuldeep Srivastava, head of the regional centre for weather forecasting stated:

Normally, in November, minimum temperatures do not drop below ten °C. In recent years, in 2017, the minimum temperature fell to 7.6 degrees C during the last week of November.

During this time, it’s rare for minimum temperatures to fall to single digits. Winter is set to begin earlier this year,” said Kuldeep Srivastava, head of the regional centre for weather forecasting. 

The lowest temperature in November was 11.4 degrees C in 2019, and 10.5 degrees C in 2018.

Weather forecast report on Thursday: 

Thursday’s weather forecaster stated that expects mercury levels to drop further from Sunday.

Head of the national weather forecasting centre K Sathi Devi stated: 

The minimum temperature drop is not sudden. Now there are bright skies so that the heat radiates out. On November 21, minimum temperatures may rise slightly before dropping again after the western disturbance passes.

“There is a slight incursion of cold winds throughout the north, and we are heading towards cold days climatologically,” stated by the head of the national weather forecasting centre K Sathi Devi.

Over the central areas of the southern Arabian Sea, a low-pressure region has developed. During the next 48 hours, it is likely to travel west-northwest and focus on depression over the southwestern Arabian Sea.

IMD report on Thursday’s Bulletin:

In its Thursday bulletin, IMD reported that minimum temperatures are expected to gradually fall by 2-4 ° C across northwest India over the next three days and gradually fall by 2-4 ° Cover central India after 24 hours.
