Four years old girl sexually assaulted in Kerala; accused arrested
A four-year-old Kerala girl was assaulted by her father; later the girl’s mother lauged the complaint and police detaind the father.
On Thursday, Kerala police arrested a migrant labourer on suspicion of sexually assaulting a four-year-old girl in the Chelari area of the state’s Malappuram district.
According to police, the little girl is also the daughter of a migrant worker.
The culprit, a marble worker, is a Madhya Pradesh native, according to police, who added that he was apprehended based on a complaint lodged by the juvenile girl’s mother.
Kerala girl Assaulted by father:
“According to the mother’s complaint, the accused sexually assaulted the four-year-old at her home after enticing her with a soft drink.” “We took him into custody yesterday and recorded his arrest after the minor identified him,” Tirurangadi Police station house officer TK Sreenivasan told reporters.
According to police, the accused has been working in Chelari for the past year, and they will investigate whether he has any criminal proceedings pending against him in his home state.
The tragedy came only days after a migrant worker’s five-year-old daughter was raped and killed by another migrant worker in Aluva in the Ernakulam region.
