The Wooga Squad is taking a break! BTS’s V (Kim Taehyung), K-drama actor Park Seo-joon, rapper Peakboy, Parasite star Choi Woo-shik, and ZE: Park Hyung-sik, a singer, will star in the new In the Soop: Friendcation adaptation from South Korea. Over the course of 4 episodes. The docuseries will follow the young men as they spend a some days relaxing and having fun in the woods.

Fans have known for a while that the series was coming, but it was announced on Wednesday that Disney+ will be the series’ streaming home, with episodes premiering weekly beginning July 22. While the official In the Soop Twitter account announced the Disney+ availability on Wednesday morning. The series will only be available on Disney+ Korea (known locally as Hotstar) and in a few other countries for the time being.

TV Guide has learned that the season will be available on the platform worldwide shortly. After its Korean release date, but an exact worldwide release date was not provided. In the Soop: Friendcation will continue to air on JTBC in Korea and will be available on Disney+ in Japan, Malaysia, Thailand, and Indonesia.

V, of course, is no stranger to the Soop.

BTS filmed two seasons of the docuseries which saw the global superstars play video games, cook dinner for each other, and try their hand at foot volleyball. Seventeen, another HYBE labelmate, also filmed a season during the pandemic. This new spin-off will give fans an inside look at the Wooga Squad’s inner dynamics as the friends spend time away from the spotlight hanging out with each other.

In the Soop: Friendcation Episode 1 will be available on Disney+ in select countries at 11 a.m. Korean Standard Time and will air on JTBC the following night at 9 p.m. KST.
