A case against Gangubai Kathiawadi’s cast:

A body of evidence has been recorded against Gangubai Kathiawadi’s chief Sanjay Leela Bhansali and the lead Alia Bhatt. The pair have been approached to stamp their quality in the Court on May 21. 

 Court’s order was quoted by Bar and Bench:

The Court’s organization was cited by Bar and Bench as, “All charged share acted practically speaking goal to depict the picture of Gangubai Kathiawadi which has influenced the standing of perished Gangubai in the territory where she is living. Presently its impact is seen on the group of the complainant.”

The order further stated:

The Court additionally indicated that there was no authorization looked for from Gangubai’s family before distributing the book or, in any event, delivering the film Gangubai Kathiawadi’s trailer.

As residents of Kamathipura protested against the Sanjay Leela Bhansali movie:

The entire episode occurred after certain inhabitants of Kamathipura challenged the Sanjay Leela Bhansali film and blamed the producers and cast for criticism. 

Their authority explanation said, “The New Alia Bhatt Starrer Gangubai Kathiawadi, coordinated by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, is a relentless deception and an endeavour to insult the 200 years of the real history of Kamathipura. 

It is slanderous, despicable and has harmed the assessments of the inhabitants of Kamathipura.”
