Gautam Adani is now the world’s sixth-richest person
Gautam Adani, the Adani Group’s founder, and chairman is currently the sixth-richest person. He has surpassed Larry Ellison of Oracle and Sergey Brin and Larry Page of Google to take the top slot.
According to Forbes Gautam Adani’ Real-Time Billionaires List, Adani and his family have $116.3 billion. Adani’s net worth has increased by $16 billion since last week, surpassing $100 billion.
This is not the first time Adani has cracked the top ten wealthiest people globally. But it is the first time he has risen to the sixth position.
It’s worth noting that, thanks to his recent net worth increase. Adani has already surpassed Reliance Industries’ Mukesh Ambani as Asia’s and India’s richest person. In February, Adani briefly surpassed Ambani to become Asia’s and India’s richest man.
Ambani, the chairman also managing director of Reliance Industries Limited (RIL), is still the world’s tenth richest person. According to Forbes, Mukesh Ambani’s net worth is 99.5 billion dollars.
