What’s new in the update:

First up is the setting of a party. Now Google Meet will allow users in a conference to see up to 49 participants. Through the auto and tiled modes, this can be achieved.

 Users would have to manually allow the broader view, according to 9to5Google, since the default view for the car is up to 9 individuals and 16 in the tile.
