The force of chilliness continued throughout Gujarat on Monday as well. Temperatures were seen under 10 degrees in 14 metropolises of the state. In South Gujarat, growers became worried as the fog turned into snow in the places near the Maharashtra border. 

Valamba village, Holdab in Akkalkuwa taluk of Nandurbar’s Satpuda hills, has seen low temperatures as the temperature suddenly changed early in the morning two days back as fog turned into snow. 

Due to this climate, the life of a total of 40 to 50 thousand individuals of Akkalkuwa, Dhadgaon taluk, was impacted. There was snow on structures, cars, fields and water lines in the village. Temperatures of 3 to 4 degrees Celsius were seen during the five days.

Snow freezes on vehicles in: 

Abu Mount Abu saw a temperature of minus 6 degrees on Monday. Early morning, a slim layer of snow was witnessed on tourists’ cars. For the previous two days, the temperature of Mount Abu has been about minus seven and six degrees. 

On the other hand, in Rajasthan’s Fatepur, trees were frozen in the snow.
