In a significant operation against drug trafficking, various agencies of the Gujarat police seized narcotic drugs. It was valued at over Rs 836 crore. They arrested 14 individuals during the week beginning August 1, according to a statement by Minister of State Harsh Sanghavi.

The Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS) carried out two major raids. The raids leads to the seizure of liquid tramadol tablets worth over Rs 831 crore and 793.232 kgs of liquid mephedrone (MD).
