The 1st of a two-part adaptation of the 1965 Frank Herbert novel, Dune, was released in 2021. The film, set in the far future, follows Paul Atreides (Timothee Chalamet) as his family, the illustrious House Atreides, is drawn into a conflict for the dangerous and hostile desert planet Arrakis.

Project K also takes place in a futuristic world and explores the effects of war, as reported in earlier reports.

The action movie Project K was made by Vyajayanthi Movies and directed by Nag Ashwin. It is anticipated to come in theatres in 2023.
