The left-hander has played seven tests for South Africa, taking 37 wickets and scoring 200 runs. He took two wickets in two One-Day Internationals.

South Africa will play warm-up games against New Zealand and Bangladesh. Before beginning their official campaign against a qualifying team on October 24 in Hobart.

Temba Bavuma (C), Quinton de Kock, Reeza Hendricks, Marco Jansen, Heinrich Klaasen, also Keshav Maharaj, Aida Markram, David Miller, Lungi Ngidi, Anrich Nortje, Wayne Parnell, Kagiso Rabada, Rilee Rossouw, Tabraiz Shamsi, and Tristan Stubbs make up South Africa’s squad.
