- India vs England 4th test.
- 13 wickets on 1st day of the 4th test in OVAL.
- Shardul Thakur’s Counter Attack.
- India’s fights by taking England’s three wickets which includes Root wicket too.
India vs England 4th test, day one. 13 wickets in one day. India once again collapses under 200. It looked like we might go down below 150. But Lord Shardul Thakur fire all guns and smashed brilliant 57runs, which helped India Post 191runs in 1st inning of the 4th test match in Oval.
Indian Batting collapse once again:
Same old story Indian batting collapse in England once again. Only Kohli and Thakur made the ’50s remaining. All batsmen got out under 20runs. Top wicket-taker from England side comeback hero Chris Woakes. He took four crucial wickets. Overton, Anderson and Robinson were also impressively bowled with good line and length. All England Pacers didn’t allow any Indian batsmen to free their arms. Only Kohli showed some character before getting out. Thakur took a risk and succeeded.
Rahane and Pujara failing once again:
The poor form of Pujara and Rahane continues, don’t know why they are in the team. More than 30test, the average below 30 says they need a break from cricket. Both players need a break, revive and then come back to the team. No doubt in their batting talent, but now the poor form is hurting India badly. Even Kohli should now play longer innings to help India come out of such situations that we are facing in England 2021 test series.
Now on Bumrah and Pace Attack:
India started well took three wickets of England before the day ended. In these three wickets, one wicket is of Root. Joe Root got a beautiful delivery from Veteran Umesh Yadav cleaned him up. Bumrah took wickets of both England openers. Now, if you see in England line up only inform batters is Malan remaining are new or not in form. Yes, Chris Woakes later can do damage like Shardul did to England. So Indian pacers have to remain smart and alert this time.
Day two England vs India 4th test oval:
The match is wide open after the Root wicket on the first day. Looking at Burmah’s rhythm, England might face the problem. The first inning of England will decide the match. If England scores big, India will lose the match, and if India limits England inning below 200, then the match is ON.
