Maharashtra’s tally reached 152,765 cases as it reported 5024 fresh infections on Friday, which is the highest single-day count in the state. Delhi is second with 77,240 confirmed cases and Tamil Nadu, which has levied a strict 12-day lockdown in its three worst-affected districts, stood third with 74,622 total coronavirus cases.
