Innovative theft gang busted in Rajkot

In a bid to get wealthy overnight, five members of the third gang of Tamil Nadu province, who robbed laptop cash from expensive vehicles like Mercedes, have been detained from Delhi by the Rajkot city crime branch. The cops have seized all the five charged along with an amount of ₹8,62,000.

In a shocking case from Rajkot, a gang with unique methods of theft has been apprehended by the city’s crime branch. 

The gang, consisting of five members from Tamil Nadu, specialized in stealing cash and laptops from high-end vehicles like Mercedes. Their arrest in Delhi led to the recovery of ₹8,62,000 in stolen money.

Unconventional Methods

The gang, hailing from the Tiruchirapalli district of Tamil Nadu, employed unconventional tactics for their thefts. 

Their modus operandi included targeting expensive cars and breaking into them to steal valuables like cash and laptops. They had even planned to steal from a grand event in Jamnagar but abandoned the idea due to tight security.

Arrests and Confessions

The five arrested members, identified as Jagan Agamudiyar, Deepak Agamudiyar, Gunshekar, Murali Modliar, and Egammaram Katan Mutrayar, confessed to multiple thefts in Jamnagar, Rajkot, and Delhi. The mastermind of the gang, Madhusudan alias VG, is currently being pursued by authorities.

Crime Investigation

The gang came under the radar of law enforcement after a theft incident involving a Mercedes on the 150 feet ring road. CCTV footage helped identify the suspects, leading to their arrest in Delhi with the help of technical and human intelligence.
