Intel Appoints Santhosh Viswanathan as MD for India

Intel, a leading computer chip maker, has announced the appointment of Santhosh Viswanathan as the managing director (MD) of its India region business.

Leadership Appointment at Intel:

Santhosh Viswanathan, who has served with Intel for approximately 21 years, will assume the role of Managing Director for the India region.

Intel’s decision to appoint Viswanathan underscores its commitment to capitalizing on India’s rapid growth and business opportunities.

Strategic Focus on India:

In March of this year, Intel designated India as a separate region within its Sales, Marketing, and Communications Group (SMG) organization, aiming to leverage the country’s potential for growth.

As Vice President and Managing Director for the Indian market since July 2022, Viswanathan has demonstrated his expertise in driving value and customer-centric strategies.

Expanding Leadership Team of Intel India:

Additionally, the Tech Giant has appointed Hans Chuang as the General Manager (GM) of SMG Asia Pacific and Japan (APJ), based in Taiwan. 

Hans will oversee Intel’s business operations in the APJ region, focusing on revenue growth, fostering new opportunities within the local ecosystem, and nurturing existing customer and partner relationships.
