Flat Sharjah Pitch and small ground:

Sharjah is becoming the batting paradise for all the IPL batsmen. Once again today we show bowl roaming outside the stadium. Hitman, aka Rohit Sharma, power-hitting 80runs with six sixes helped MI reach 196runs.

Rohit and Suryakumar Partnership, Mavi and Narine bowled well:

The partnership between Rohit Sharma and Suryakumar Yadav helped MI post a good score in 20 overs, for KKR Mavi and Narine were the picks of the bowlers. Mavi was impressive as he bowled pretty well in-depth overs against Hardik, Rohit and Pollard.

KKR lost the momentum early in the inning:

In reply of 196 KKR lost the momentum after 12 overs KKR lost 4wickets and score was only 78runs. Dinesh Kartik and Rana didn’t utilize the start both got out in the 20s and 30s. MI bowlers bowled tight length didn’t allow KKR batsman to free their arms.

Bumrah showed his class in his first three overs:

Boom Boom Bumrah back in form took the big wickets of Andre Russel and Morgan in one over. It was totally one side match. Boult, Chahar, Pattinson all bowled with discipline didn’t give any wrong deliveries to KKR batsman. Great to see bowlers shining in flat pitch and small ground. Today champion team MI played like Champions. It started with Captain Rohit and then bowlers showing their skills.

KKR Bowling was below average:

KKR depends too much on Russell, especially when you need quick runs. Kartik, Morgan has to show their experience in coming matches. This time every team looks in right touch so KKR has to think about middle overs bowlers with Narine who can bowl well with him. There strike bowler Cummins looked totally out of form he gave away 49runs in three overs.

Four sixes in Bumrah’s one over by Cummins didnt help KKR:

Today’s match was one-sided. Later part of the inning Cummins hit four sixes in Bumrah’s over which was only highlight part in the second inning. MI was too strong to handle.

KKR lost the match by 50runs:

KKR lost the match by 50runs. Great game for Rohit Sharma’s men in blue MI team. Champions are back in form after first match defeat against CSK.
