Career of Ishant sharma in T20s and ODI is already over. He was known for his bowling in tests. Before covid he was going good in terms of taking wicket. Last few series cost him big. Now poor form in tests can end his career in tests too. Its too early to say he can comeback or not but looking to the strength of Indian pace lineup his place is now in doubt.
Ajinkya Rahane Career:
Like Ishant we can say career of Rahane too is in trouble. His poor form from last three years was raising many question on his place in team. Ishant we feel is bit unlucky if you see players like Rahane, Pujara and Kohli given many chances. All three batters average is below 30 for more than three years. Its is way below standard, here also Kohli is given another chance and not picking up Rahane ans Pujara jn tests looks like one side decision. Because Kohli form in tests is also worst not better than pujara and Rahane then question is why he is in the team.
