Jadeja’s Heroics in batting helped CSK beat KKR in a tight game in Dubai IPL 2020.

The 49th match IPL 2020 played between CSK and KKR in Dubai. It was a do or die match for KKR. It was all good till 19th over then came Jadeja to help CSK win a game which was almost gone from the hand. Jadeja scored match-winning 31runs in 11balls, and he smashed two sixes in the last over to help CSK win a tough match. What a match it was, once again, Jadeja proves why he is Dhoni’s first choice all the time.

KKR scored 172 in 20overs:

Shubham Gill and Nitish Rana started well for KKR. Shubham Gill got out after scoring 26runs. But Nitish Rana played well for his 87runs of 61balls. He smashed 10boundaries and 4sixes. In the end, Kartik scored quickly which helped KKR reach 172 in their 20 overs.

Ngidi and Jadeja bowled well for CSK but not good enough to stop CSK score 172 in 20 overs. Ravindra Jadeja was playing his 250th match in IPL. 

CSK chased down 172 all thanks to Jadeja:

CSK started poorly as they lost Watson early. Raydu and Gaikwad played well, but both got out at the wrong time which made work tough for another batsman in the last few overs.

Before getting out, Raydu scored 38runs of 20balls and Gaikwad scored 72runs of 53balls in which he smashed six boundaries and two sixes. Dhoni once again got out early in the bowling of mystery spinner Varun Chakravarthy. 

Chakravarthy once again was very impressive, gave only 20runs in 4overs and took crucial two wickets.

It all came down to the last two overs where CSK needed 31runs. It was all on Jadeja and Curran. Jadeja smashed best KKR bowler Ferguson for 21runs in 19th over which changed the match and once again CSK became favourite as only 10runs were needed in the last over.

Last over bowled by young Nagarkoti against set batsman Curran and Jadeja two lefthanders. The first ball dot second ball two runs, third ball one run. Now it was on Jadeja 3 balls 7runs. The pressure on Nagarkoti held his nerves; he brilliantly bowled the 4th one which was a dot. Now the last two ball 7runs needed. Fifth ball boom Bapu aka Jadeja smashed the ball, and it was out in pavilion for a big hit. Last ball one runs to win and Jadeja once again strikes six. GAME SET AND MATCH TO CSK.
