Pakistani RJ Apologises to Katrina Kaif After Salman Khan Slams Trolls

Pakistani RJ Dr Ejaz Waris has issued a public apology for trolling Katrina Kaif over her post-pregnancy weight gain, after Salman Khan strongly criticised body shaming on Bigg Boss 20. The Katrina Kaif body shaming controversy took a new turn when the host’s remarks on Weekend Ka Vaar prompted the RJ to reconsider his comments.

Waris had targeted the actor’s looks following her appearance at the Ambani Ganesh Chaturthi celebration. After Salman raised the issue on the reality show, the RJ shared a video and a written note on social media. He said he reflected on his words and realised they may have hurt Katrina and many of her fans, insisting that body shaming was never his intention. He also apologised to Salman and anyone else who felt offended, adding that words sometimes come out wrong.
