KGF 2 Box Office Day 1 has made a record-breaking start at the box office in Hindi belts. According to early estimates, the film grossed between Rs. 48.50 and Rs. 51.50 crores on its first day. It is just about to overtake War, the biggest opener in the Hindi market, which grossed Rs. 53.35 crore in the Hindi version.
KGF 2 has a chance to surpass War as the biggest opener of all time in the Hindi markets, and we’ll have a better picture once we get the numbers from smaller theaters, which were literally packed on opening day. Despite having little exposure in the Southern Belts, KGF 2 is challenging the opening day figure of a mega-budget actioner starring two action stars – Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff.

These are simply historical figures, with collections breaking records in the majority of the significant Hindi circuits. The buzz is that the film will gross between Rs—160 and 175 crores during its extended weekend run. Tomorrow’s advances are substantial, implying that another record-breaking day is on the cards in the Hindi belts. Similar to Baahubali 2, the Hindi version is the most critical contributor to KGF 2.
In terms of Baahubali 2, KGF has outperformed Baahubali 2’s opening day collections by a wide margin, becoming the biggest opener among all Southern films dubbed in Hindi.
