Know all about the new NMACC of Nita Ambani

Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre, NMACC, was inaugurated on Friday in Mumbai. 

On Thursday, Nita Ambani performed a traditional pooja on Ramnavmi to take God’s blessings on the eve of the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre (NMACC) start-off. Many Bollywood and Hollywood celebs attended the 2-day long event.

Big celebs attend the NMACC event, including Tom Holland: 

B-town celebrities like Shahrukh Khan, Alia Bhat, Salman Khan, Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, Kareena Kapoor, and Saif Ali Khan. Priyanka Chopra and her hubby, Nick Jonas, were at the event. American superstar Gigi Hadid, fashion designer Law Roach, Tom Holland, Zendaya, and Penelope Cruz attended the eve.

The second day saw a performance by Alia Bhatt and Rashmika Mandanna on ‘Nacho Nacho’ at NMACC. Shahrukh Khan danced to the ‘Pathaan’ sensation number’ Jhoome Jo Pathan’ and was followed by Ranveer Singh and Varun Dhawan. Ranveer Singh had an electrifying performance and rapped to the famous track ‘Apna Time Aayega’.

He later asked Priyanka Chopra Jonas to the stage and performed to Gallan Goodiyaan from the 2015 hit movie Dil Dhadakne Do.

Speaking on the NMACC, Nita Ambani said, “Getting this Cultural Centre to life has been a heavenly journey. We wanted to make a space to encourage and honour our artistic and cultural legacy in cinema and music, dance and theatre, literature and folklore, skills and crafts, and science and spirituality.”

“A room where we showcase the finest of India to the world and welcome the best of the planet to India.”

NMACC is India’s first-of-its-kind, multi-disciplinary cultural area, exhibiting India’s best offerings in music, cinema, fine arts, and crafts.

The Centre marks another decisive measure in bolstering India’s cultural infrastructure and bringing to fruition the finest of India and the world in the arts sphere.

NMACC is located at the Jio World Centre in Mumbai’s BKC.
