Why many temples do Vaadi Sthapana:

This year vaadi Sthapana mahurat is on 06 October 2021 in evening 5 thi 6:30. In Kutch Gujarat Matanamadh or Kothara Ashapura Temple, they do Vaadi pooja. Now what is Vaadi pooja? According to Shastriji Jayesh Maraj from Kothara Abdasa Kutch, his Son Nirav Maraj and Neetaben Joshi from Mumbai Ghatkopar said: When Amavas ends, starts ekam, and at that time in the temple, Vaadi pooja (Ghat Sthapana / Kalash Sthapana Muhurata)is done first.

Story of Vaadi Pooja before bringing Garbo at home:

According to the rituals 9 Khanda are there and between it comes Ghado / Kalash or say Maa / Goddess set between and protects us. Maa in Navratri comes as Jyot in Garba. We celebrate these nine days by remembering all the nine avatars of Maa Durga. It is scientific too that on Navratri they get a hint of how next year will go for farmers and nearby areas.

Sthapana to Garbo Visarjan Navratri 2021:

From 07 October to 14 October, Navratri will be there this year. In Kutch Garbo Visarjan is done on Aatham. After that Pathri Vidhi is done in Kutch Matanamadh and also in Kothara Abadasa. Due to Tritiya and Chaturthi Tithi coming together. The festival of Vijayadashami (Dussehra) will be on 15 October.  This year Navratri 2021 is of eight days. Reason is two dates being held together as per Hindu Calendar.

The ride of Maa Durga 2021:

Maa is Coming in palanquin. Maa Durga will come by palanquin or Doli this year 2021 and will leave on an elephant. Shradh will end with Sarvapitri Amavasya on 06 October 2021. Navratri will start from the next day, i.e. 07 October.

This year Navaratri Garbo Mahurat:

Bring Garbo at home at this time. This year’s timing starts from morning 6:46 to 8:15. In noon 2:07 pm to 3:30 pm. Evening 5:03 to 6:32 pm. 

Why we bring Garbo at home or say Kalash at home:

Maa comes as Jyot at home, which we try to keep it akhand till 9days. We keep this in mud decorated Garbo and do aarti pooja of that for 9days. We remember all the Swaroop of Maa Durga. Maa is everywhere. We all are her childrens. Aastha is the biggest stambh or, say, pillar of human life. It gives you positive energy and belief to do anything in life. In Navratri, people don’t see Mahurat as they say 9DAYS all mahurats are good. Many purchase new things in Navratri, from cars to new houses or any new gadgets in India.
