Know the real Rates of Saurashtra’s Kesar Mangoes 2025

Kesar mangoes from Saurashtra have started arriving in Ahmedabad markets, with current prices set at Rs 1,200 per dozen. As is typical with the initial arrival of mangoes, prices are high, but they usually decrease as the season progresses and supply increases.

In contrast, the Alphonso variety from South Gujarat is priced significantly higher, almost double the cost of Kesar mangoes when they first arrive in the market. This difference in price can be attributed to the demand and reputation of the Alphonso variety, which is considered one of the most premium mangoes in the country.

Despite the steep prices at the start of the season, mango enthusiasts are eager to get their hands on the early harvest of these beloved varieties, as they mark the beginning of the mango season.
