Several areas were submerged in Jalgaon, causing the city life to be still, while many vehicles were stuck under trash flow caused by heavy rainfall.

The Heavy rain in the parts of Maharashtra has moved the normal life of the people on Wednesday and led to the flood-like position in the Jalgaon district where houses and roads are immersed. 

The torrential rains in Maharashtra:

Heavy Rains caused widespread waterlogging in Jalgaon, and homes and roads were immersed in several areas of the district. As a result, many areas were submerged in Jalgaon, making the city life a still, while numerous vehicles stabbed under wreckage flow caused by abundant rainfall.

Earlier, due to the heavy rains, one person died, one was seriously wounded. It is estimated that about 10-15 people have been wiped away in the floods that submerged villages in Chalisgaon Jalgaon district on Tuesday. In addition, the government estimates that around 700-850 animals have faded due to the floods.

Heavy Rain on Tuesday Maharashtra:

Due to the night rain on Tuesday, Kannad, Chalisgaon district. Jalgaon Ghat has fallen, and cracks have come in many areas, said Bhagwat Patil, Traffic Incharge. 

IMD Forecast:

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) had on August 28 said that “Maharashtra is very likely to encounter an active rainfall time during the next 4-5 days”.

“The development of a low-pressure area over Northwest adjoining West-central Bay of Bengal off south Odisha-north Andhra Pradesh coasts, its likely west northwestwards migration and other associated synoptic features, Maharashtra is very likely to encounter an active rainfall spell during next 4-5 days. 

As a result, enhanced rainfall activity is anticipated over the area with heavy to very heavy rainfall at isolated places,” the IMD had stated.
