Elattuvalappil Sreedharan (88) otherwise called India’s Metro Man will join the Bharatiya Janata Party, said BJP state president K Surendran on Thursday in Kozhikode.

'Metro man' Sreedharan to join BJP, says will challenge Kerala races.

“It is valid; I will join the BJP. I have been remaining in the state throughout the previous ten years and noticing the political environment. The two fronts, administering LDF and resistance UDF, are keen on advancing their associations.

The state has gigantic potential, yet advancement assumes a lower priority consistently. If I can accomplish something positive, I will be upbeat,” said Sreedharan, who is driving a semi-resigned life in his genealogical home in Ponnani (Malappuram) region.

Sreedharan uses a ton of regard and remaining in Kerala, and his entrance could support the BJP in the state where the gathering stays a long ways behind the Congress and the Left Front.

He said the BJP’s state chiefs had moved toward him a week ago and he consented to their solicitation to join the gathering.

“They proposed that I should challenge in the forthcoming gathering political decision. I consented to this too. It is for the gathering to choose where I should challenge,” he said, adding he will be into solid governmental issues and Metro man not intrigued by simple mudslinging or tricks.

The BJP has an unwritten code of not offering passes to challenge a political race to competitors who are over 75 years old. Karnataka boss priest BS Yediyurappa has been a special case for the unwritten principle.

A resigned structural specialist from Indian railroads he reformed how the metropolitan individuals drive. The Pambhan connect in Rameswaram, Konkan rail lines and the Delhi Metro are among the lofty ventures that convey his mark.
