More than 20 Gujaratis will become IPS officers,nominated from Gujarat.
More than 20 will be nominated as IPS, which the Home Department is working on State Police Heads,4 DySP level officers from Ahmedabad and 3 from Kutch were also selected.
At one time, hardly any Gujarati was selected for IPS, but now times have changed, and the number of Gujaratis going to IPS is also increasing. In this too, the historical event of more than 20 officers being nominated for IPS is taking shape.
In this regard, the state police chief Ashish Bhatia in a conversation with DivyaBhaskar said that more than 20 IPS would be nominated, about which the home department is working.
The clearing process for IPS nomination has been completed for about 25 officers who were recruited as DySP in the 2011 batch. After completing the nomination process, more than 20 Gujarati officers will serve as IPS soon.
Among the officers to be nominated for IPS are Dr. Harshad Patel, Panna Momaya,
Deputy Commissioner of Police, Surat, Panna Momaya, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Control Room), Ahmedabad City, Dr. Harshad Patel, Zone-4, Deputy Commissioner of Police, City of Ahmedabad, Rajesh H. Gadhia, and 25 others. DySP included.

According to the information received, 36 DySPs who passed the batch of 2011 have been appointed as SP in the district and DCP in the town, who will soon be in important positions. Earlier, four IPS officers of Gujarat cadre, Sajjan Singh V. IPS cadre, were allotted to Parmar, Ashok Munia, Mayur Chawda, and Usha Radha.
