Mumbai Police to fine two celebrities for not wearing a helmet on bikes
Mumbai Police got complaints from social media handles against Amitabh Bachchan and Anushka Sharma. Both of them were spotted riding bikes without helmets.
After getting complaints from social media handles, police has started action against superstar Amitabh Bachchan and Anushka Sharma, who were recently spotted riding bikes separately but without helmets.
While Amitabh had taken a lift from a fan to reach his workplace on Monday, Anushka Sharma hopped on a motorbike with her bouncer after a roadblock. In both cases, neither of them or their riders were seen in helmets.
On Instagram, Amitabh Bachchan shared a picture of himself taking a bike ride with a fan.

Replying to it, a user on Twitter tagged Mumbai Police and wrote, “Missing helmets for both rider and pillion. @MumbaiPolice, please take note!”
The Twitter account of Mumbai Police tweeted back, “We have shared this with the traffic branch.” Likewise, when a video of Anushka Sharma riding a two-wheeler went viral online, a user wrote, “@MumbaiPolice No helmet?”
In response, Police wrote that the traffic police had been notified. Their tweet read, “We have shared this with the traffic branch.” The official Twitter account of Mumbai Traffic Police was even tagged in both posts.
