Many governments have streamlined the process for acquiring a driving license for cars. People won’t have to wait for their turns throughout the registration offices in the painfully long queues anymore. The process for obtaining a license was amended by states such as Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, and Jharkhand, Rajasthan, Delhi-NCR, by taking it digitally and thereby making it simpler than before.

Here are a few key facts on how it is no longer a herculean challenge to acquire a driving license:

Offline to online:

In such states, applicants for a learner’s license can register online by contacting the Ministry of Transport websites.

They could fill in the form with their info, submit their documents, and book a test slot. According to his or her convenience, the candidate will get a date for the exam after the slot is reserved.

Test online:

A learner’s license applicant will be expected to perform an online exam at a specified transport office. The analysis is made up of ten questions that need to be answered within 10 minutes. By correctly answering six out of ten responses, one will apply for a licence.

The credential is then sent to the applicant by mail, thus making it available from anywhere. Compared to the earlier offline methods, this greatly decreases the waiting period.

Deposition of Fee:

Through the new method as soon as a slot is reserved for the license exam, an applicant must deposit money electronically. After the fee deposition, one can pick the date of the test according to their convenience.

Delhi’s Latest RTOs:

Four new Regional Transport Offices (RTOs) have been opened throughout Delhi in consideration of the growing requirement for driving licenses. State Minister of Transport Kailash Gahlot claimed that the state currently has 13 operational RTOs that offer driver’s license, international driving license, vehicle registration, and operator’s license facilities to the state.
