On Saturday, Niraj Chopra, who won India’s landmark gold medal in athletics at the Tokyo Olympics. Ealier this year, received a custom XUV700 from Mahindra Group Chairman Anand Mahindra. Niraj Chopra accepted the Mahindra XUV700 and wrote: “Thanks @anandmahindra Ji for the new wheelset with some great adjustments! I can’t wait to get the car rolling soon.”

The 23-year-old Chopra, who won a historic gold medal in javelin throwing with a stunning 87.58-meter javelin throw. posted a photo of her new car with a javelin sticker and the number “87.58”.

The same model car was also awarded to Sumit Antilles. who won the gold medal in the men’s F16 javelin throw at the Tokyo Paralympics. In response to the tweet, Mahindra said, “Thank you for giving us the privilege to share our copy with you!” May strength be with you… always.”

Anand Mahindra had previously announced that after their outstanding performances at this year’s Olympic and Paralympic Games in Tokyo. Anand Mahindra would be presenting the new Mahindra XUV700 as a sign of goodwill to the spearmen.

Chopra secured India’s first gold medal at this edition of the Olympics in the men’s javelin category. He was the first athlete to secure a gold medal for the country.
