No Bhadarvi Poonam fair at Ambaji Temple, Bhattaji Maharaj, Poonamia Sangh and traders say, ‘Health concerns come first.’

• Preparations were being made by Tantra six months ago. There is not even a month left for the fair, but there is a clear indication that there is no preparation.
• Most of the Sangh’s are reaching Amba’s Darshan in Shravan Mass.

This year Ambaji Bhadarvi Poonam Fair comes from 13th to 20th September 2021. However, there is no possibility of holding a fair; the government has taken no decision yet regarding the unfinished fair. 

Will a fair be held or not? Hundreds of devotees around the world are confused about this. However, the system did not hold a single meeting regarding the fair, which has proved that the fair will not be held this year.

While many sources are trying to get an opinion about the fair, there is also a fear that the fair will be dangerous in terms of health. But with just 27 days to go before the fair, no movement has been seen so far. This is a clear indication that the fair is unlikely to take place this time as well.

The Bhadarvi Melo held at the Sama Yatradham Ambaji, a symbol of faith for hundreds of devotees, is of special importance to my devotees. But, unfortunately, Bhadarvi Maha Kumbh was postponed in the year 2020 due to the Corona epidemic. 

Now there are 27 days left until the fair starts. Then will Ambaji be able to send an invitation to Ambala among the devotees living in Ambaji worldwide? So there is a lot of confusion in that regard as well. On the other hand, the administration started preparations for the Bhadarvi Mela five to six months ago. But at present, there is no movement of the administration.

Contacting Bhadarvi Poonamiya Sangh president Virsangbhai (Rah. Pamol) about this, he said, “We will act as per the guideline given by the government.” But not if it happens because of the Corona epidemic. However, many Sangh’s are visiting Amba in Shravan Mass. So it is unknown at this time what he will do after leaving the post.

In Tantra Awadhva: The government decide the fair.

The decision regarding the Bhadarvi Poonam fair will be taken from the state level. The matter has been brought to the government’s notice as the fair has to be planned.

In these circumstances, the fair is dangerous in terms of health. This was said by Bhattji Maharaj Alpeshbhai, the temple priest. Therefore, the fair should be held in faith, but it is also considered dangerous in terms of health.

According to Rameshbhai Teli, a leading businessman in the good Ambaji hotel industry. It is dangerous for many people to gather if the Bhadarvi fair is not held. In my opinion, it would be better if the fair was not held. Devotees can also do darshan during the day.

So the gates of the temple have to be closed. If the fair is cancelled, the system will have to close the temple, temple sources said.
