Heaping praise on Donald Trump, a White House official said that Donald Trump has elevated the US-India relationship and has solidified both the countries’ growing partnership.

The White House on Monday said that the President of the US, Donald Trump has elevated the country’s ties with India and solidified the growing partnership between the two nations in ways not seen under any previous US Presidents. It asserted that Trump’s administration will continue to build this critical partnership in the future. A senior administration official from White House’s National Security Council said,” President Trump has prioritized US-India relationship and worked to expand all facets of the partnership over the last three-and-a-half-years. Given the two countries’ democratic foundations and their mutual interests in rebuilding the global economy following COVID-19, diversifying global supply chains, and ensuring the Indo-Pacific region remains free and open. President Trump will continue to build this critical partnership in the years to come.”

White House Official underlines Trump’s contributions for elevating the US-India relations:

Further, the official said that the Trump administration has elevated the US-India ties and solidified their partnership in many ways that have not been seen in any other US administration. The official then highlighted the good friendship of Donald Trump and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and spoke about both leaders staging two mega-events for the peace and prosperity of both the nations. Trump and Modi spoke side-by-side at “Howdy, Modi” in September 2019, in Houston, before a crowd of over 55,000. The leaders again met in February 2020 in Ahmedabad, at the “Namaste Trump” event, addressing more than 110,000 people. The official stated that these gatherings boost the people-to-people ties and enhance a secure, inclusive, peaceful, and prosperous future.
