SSC CHSL 2020 Notification: Official notification for the Combined Higher Secondary Level Exam 2020 was issued by each Staff Selection Commission (SSC) on Friday.
It is possible to download the SSC CHSL notification from its official website at ssc.nic.in.Online applications for posts of Postal Assistant (PA)/Sorting Assistant (SA) Lower Division Clerk (LDC)/Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA), and Data Entry Operator (DEO) are available to interest and qualified cameras on or before December 15.
The scale of Pay:
Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA)/Lower Division Clerk (LDC): Pay Level-2 (Rs. 19,900-63,200).
Sorting Assistant (SA)/Postal Assistant (PA): (Rs. 25,500-81,100) Salary Level-4.
Pay Level-4(Rs. 25,500-81,100) and Level-5(Rs. 29,200-92,300): Data Entry Operator (DEO).
The operator of Data Entry, Grade ‘A’: Level-4 Pay (Rs. 25,500-81,100).
Relevant Dates:

Qualification of Education:
For PA/ SA, LDC / JSA, DEO (except for DEOs in C&AG): Applicants must have passed a recognized Board or University 12th Standard or equivalent test.
For Data Entry Operator (DEO Grade ‘A’) in the Department of Comptroller and Auditor General of India (C&AG): 12th Grade pass from a recognized Board or equivalent in the Science Stream with Mathematics as a subject.
Application payment: Rs 100.
Women applicants and applicants eligible for reservation belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Persons with Disabilities (PWD), scheduled tribes (ST), and Ex-servicemen (ESM) are excluded from fee payment.
Method of Selection:
A computer-based test (tier-1) followed by a descriptive paper (tier-2) and an ability test/type test (tier-3) would have to be clear for candidates.
Limit Age:
For the posts, the age limit is 18-27 years as of 01-01-2021, i.e. Applicants born before 02-01-1994 and even before 01-01-2003 are welcome to apply.
The pattern of the exam for Tier-1
Four sections will be included in the exam: English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, General Intelligence, and General Knowledge. There will be 25 topics in each segment that hold a total of 50 marks. The test will be 60 minutes long.
In nature, the questions would be factual. For each incorrect reply, 0.5 marks are deducted.
A descriptive paper of 100 Marks in ‘Pen and Paper’ mode would be a Tier 2 paper. The Descriptive Paper will have a length of one hour. The Tier-II minimum qualification mark will be 33 per cent.
