Kajol Shuts Down Rumours of Daughter Nysa Devgan’s Bollywood Debut

Buzz has been swirling online for months about whether Ajay Devgn and Kajol’s daughter, Nysa Devgan, is gearing up for her Bollywood debut. Speculation intensified following her frequent public appearances and glamorous presence at social events. However, putting an end to all the rumours, actor Kajol recently addressed the topic during a public event and offered a clear response: Nysa has no plans to enter the film industry, at least for now.

Speaking at an event hosted by News18, Kajol was asked directly about the possibility of Nysa stepping into the world of acting. With her characteristic honesty and humour, Kajol dismissed the speculation, saying, “Bilkul nai. No! I think woh 22 saal ki ho gayi hai, hone wali hain abhi. I think she has made up her mind that ki nai aane wali hai abhi.” (Not at all. No! I think she has turned 22 now or is about to. I think she has made up her mind that she’s not going to come into films for now.)

The statement puts to rest the ongoing discussions and assumptions regarding Nysa’s Bollywood debut, which had gained traction on social media. Despite being frequently photographed at fashion events and international study tours, it seems Nysa is currently not looking at films as a career path.

Kajol, known for her candid nature, was also asked about the kind of advice she would give to aspiring actors and newcomers in the film industry. Her response was both thoughtful and slightly tongue-in-cheek. “Firstly, I’d like to say — please don’t take advice from everyone,” she said. “If you go around asking, ‘What should I do?’ a hundred people will line up and say, ‘You should do this, change your nose, change your hands, change your hair colour, do this, do that.’”

She emphasized the importance of individuality, saying, “It’s your individuality that makes you stand out. The people we remember the most are those who stood out from the crowd, not the ones who blended in. And I think that’s the real secret to success, whether it’s on social media or in acting.”

On the work front, Kajol was last seen in Do Patti. She is now gearing up for her upcoming film Maa, directed by Vishal Furia. The film, which also stars Ronit Roy and Indraneil Sengupta, is set to release in theatres on June 27.
