You might have encountered several stories of old people who have reached a certain age and still manage to serve others.

A Jadeja Mataji left the royal family’s palace and has been helping others for ages. Widely popular as Jadeja Maa in Surendranagar Chotila. She does this from what she gets from local and people who knows her. Keeping cows and other animals, she says that dogs and other animals are now her family.

One of the oldest women living in India:

You will be shocked to learn the age of Jadeja Mataji, not 100 years, not 150 years, she is 175 years old, and she still wants to live 500 years and help mankind and animals.

Mataji’s father was the holder of 52 Jagir state of Sanand. Born with a Golden spoon later got married into a royal family of Kutch abdasa Kothara Naliya.

She said she never entered the Kitchen there, but after becoming Sadhu, she learnt how to make rotla; this Sadhu life taught me, says Mataji.

After becoming the Sadhu, performing Havan twice daily is her routine. She performs Havan daily for around 45 minutes. As Mataji says, I struggle to open a Gav Shala bank account. Still, she faces problems due to age, as it shows 175 on her birth certificate and 145 years on other identity documents.

How she remains so fit what she eats:

You will be shocked to hear that Mataji has not eaten anything for several years. Still, she manages to do several works like managing Gav Shala, Making 10 to 15kg Rotlas daily, and farming. Surely, doing all this at this age is shocking. She likes eating dry fruits, fruits and all.

And after all this work, she says that I just sleep for 1 to 3 hrs only. She starts all her Pooja and Havan work daily at 4 am and then goes back to the Gav Shala.

But what was the reason for leaving the lavish lifestyle and doing all this?

The reason was that her 5-year-old Son got Kidnapped, and Jadeja Mataji turned into Sadhu to find him. She pledged that if I found my Son, I would adapt to the Sadhu life, and if I didn’t find my Son, I would suicide, but god had some other plans for her as she found her Son in two years at Allahabad Kumbh Mela.

And you will be amazed that her Son is also a Sadhu in Katmandu, Nepal. age of her son is around 130 to 135 years, and he is mainly known as Jadeja Bappu.

How does Jadeja Mataji reach Chotila?

When we asked Mataji how she found this place for Gav Shala, she said no one showed me this place. I just took the Garba of Mataji and went to Dwarka from Kutch;

Later, I wanted to go to Pawagad, and after Pawagad, I wanted to go to Sundha Mata in Rajasthan, where god takes me. But later, I found those cows here, left my Garba, and made the Gav Shala in Surendranagar Chotila.

It’s great to sacrifice everything and get into the Sadhu life. Mataji simply said that just look at those lives and that one sentence says it all.

Not only Gav Shala and others animals but Mataji also runs an Orphanage, and she has been serving them since she was 28 years old.

There are around 280 cows of Gav Shala, in which few of them have been taken to Ratan Darbar. Jadeja Mataji has a very busy day, as she has to care for her cows and the orphanage kids.
