Oppo A17 Launched with 50-Megapixel Main Camera and Leather-Feel Design
A MediaTek Helio P35 SoC powers the Oppo A17 with 4GB of RAM.
The Oppo A17, the company’s latest affordable smartphone, has been released in Malaysia. The smartphone’s main selling point is its 50-megapixel primary sensor, which is part of an AI-powered dual rear camera setup. It is qualified with a MediaTek Helio P35 (MT6765) SoC also 4GB of RAM. The handset now has Extended RAM, which uses some storage as memory to run demanding apps also reduce lag. Oppo’s new smartphone has a distinct leather-feel design and an IPX4 water resistance rating.

The OppoA17 is priced at MYR 599 (approximately Rs. 10,600) for the single 4GB RAM + 64GB storage variant. The phone is public in Lake Blue also Midnight Black color options in the country.

The OppoA17 is a dual-SIM phone that runs ColorOS 12.1.1, based on Android 12. The device has a 6.56-inch HD+ (720×1,612 pixel) display and is powered by a MediaTek Helio P35 SoC with 4GB of RAM. To provide a lag-free experience, the phone can borrow up to 4GB of storage also use it as memory to run demanding apps.
The OppoA17 has a dual rear camera setup for photos also videos, with a 50-megapixel primary camera and an f/1.8 aperture lens. A 2-megapixel depth sensor with an f/2.8 aperture lens is also included. A 5-megapixel sensor with an f/2.2 aperture lens is used for selfies and video calls.
